Sharon Coomer is a private vocal instructor. She has over 27 years of experience teaching vocals to students and is always accepting new students for one-hour private voice sessions. She accepts students of all styles of music and from ages 8 and up. Sharon has 35 years of experience as a professional classical/solo artist and takes pride in preparing students for auditions by teaching them choral arts skills, healthy vocal techniques, music reading skills, sight reading skills, as well as prepping students for Governors School of the Arts and college auditions, school or church solos and YPAS. Cathy Disher is a piano and voice coach for Notable Beginnings Music School in Louisville, KY. She has been teaching private voice and piano lessons for over ten years and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Music Therapies and is currently a graduate student pursuing her Master’s degree. She is the music worship leader for Pendergraff Women’s Ministry and sings in the choir of her church. Cathy has taught her music all over the world. Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Ruthanne Fulton moved to Louisville to pursue her degree at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is still an active musician at the Seminary and regularly performs as a pianist, piano accompanist, choral singer and soloist and solo flutist. She also performs with the Symphonic Band and has been named Outstanding Senior Bands Woman. She offers weekly half-hour to one hour lessons either one-on-one or as group lessons. Her Louisville singing lessons put emphasis on the student’s strengths and helps students learn to improve on their weaknesses. Ruthanne accepts students ages seven through adult at the appropriate level. Each student is allowed to progress at their own pace and allowed to work on both their strengths and weaknesses.
